Joining the Register
There are numerous societies, associations and mediation groups that practising mediators could choose to join. Many of these are either profit making organisations, are intended to drive business towards the companies who have set them up, or are simply non-standardised listings that anybody would be able to join.

The UKRM is different. In order to meet the high standard required for entry onto the Register, you need to be able to demonstrate:
  • that you have undertaken an externally accredited and recognised training course
  • that you have put your skills into practice
  • that you are engaged in ongoing supervision and Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
  • that you agree to be bound by the UKRM’s Complaints Procedure

For further details of how to join the UKRM, please download an Information Pack via the link below, and also the Code of Practice and Application Form.
